Movie Review: Cloverfield

I liked it. For the most part.

Pretty cool concept. What would it be like to witness a huge monster attacking New York City?

The characters were kinda goofy, and I really didn’t get into the story much. Let’s just say I was glad when the monster finally attacked.

I like movies with endings that leave you wondering. This ending will leave you wondering. You may or may not like that. I did. I wish more movies ended the way this one did, then I’d feel like it is harder to predict movie endings in general.

If you can actually believe that a goofy dude can stay a dedicated camera man through all the experiences that these characters are put through, good for you. I probably would have dropped or broke the camera along the way, myself. The guy with the camera was awfully dedicated to his contributions to new media and society.

If you like sci-fi or monster movies, you should find Cloverfield to be an interesting a short movie watching jaunt.

Monty Python: Ministry of Silly Walks

Haha. I just had to post this. A classic. Not necessarily a gem in the rough, but this clip will brighten up any person’s day, especially if you are fan of Monty Python style humor. The Ministry of Silly Walks:

The Ultimate Weapon for Doom

Remember the classic game of Doom? That classic battle with the forces of hell on Mars? I do, kinda. It was pretty fun. I wish I had this weapon back in the day.

Kraftwerk - The Robots

A classic Kraftwerk video. Kraftwerk are the Robots.

Horribly Produced Anti-Meth Television Ad

It gets more funny with every viewing.

Watch it twice.

I don’t understand why some things are so unexpectedly funny.

And oh yeah, don’t make meth. It’ll blow you up while you put yourself through a bad acting performance.

Kraftwerk: Pocket Calculator

It’s Kraftwerk, something about a pocket calculator and being an operator of one. The sound quality is pretty good compared to some other music videos on you tube. Crank up the bass.
