As you all may know, China has been struggling with producing non-dangerous toys lately. This topic has become the instigator of some great comedy.

I had to laugh at this one.

Imagine if this wasn’t actually just somebody trying to be funny. How funny would that be?

The Horror Movie Survival Guide has a nice list of about 304 tips for horror movie characters to use to keep themselves alive. A quick sample:

As a general rule, don’t solve puzzles that open portals to Hell.

Never stand in, on, above, below, beside, or anywhere near a grave, tomb, crypt, mausoleum, or other domicile of the dead.

If you’re searching for something which caused a noise and find out that it’s just the cat, leave the room immediately if you value your life.

If appliances start operating by themselves, move out.

Just the fact that there are 304 tips doesn’t bode well for any character in a horror movie. That’s a lot of stuff to remember just to keep yourself alive.

It’s also nice that this list doesn’t apply to real life.

It’s kinda overkill, even for an execution.

Thankfully, we have in the meantime advanced to technologically advanced methods, like the guillotine, the electric chair, the gas chamber and lethal injection.

I couldn’t agree more.

I’ve also found some other guy that built one, but he provides no plans or anything you help your build your own. He’s got a nice photo of his setup.

And finally, here’s a really crazy looking site that sells marshmallow guns. Weird.

I recently sold a paintball marker on ebay, I hadn’t used it in a while. I figured I may as well cash it in on the internet market. When I was putting it together and getting it ready for shipping, I kinda wanted to try to fire off a few rounds, but it wasn’t really a good ideas considering I was in an apartment.

At the time of sale I never really figured I’d find anything similar to paintball. Similar but suitable for use inside of an apartment building. Not with safe indoors fun as the number one concern (I’m not trying to sound too lame here), but more importantly flavor.

I checked out instructables.com today and found not one but two instructions for marshmallow launchers.
